Meet Dr. Youssefzadeh;  Co-Founder

Dr. Bavand Youssefzadeh is a Fellowship trained Physician and Surgeon specializing in refractive surgery, corneal diseases and treatment, cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, glaucoma management, and surgery, and an array of general ophthalmology procedures.


Meet Dr. Melikian;  Co-Founder

Dr. Melikian


Dr. Arbi Melikian received his B.S. Degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2003 and has completed internships at Gainesville VAMC, Illinois Eye Institute, Cleveland VAMC and at Barnet-Dulaney-Perkins Eye Clinic. He has trained many eye doctors and co-managed more than 80,000 LASIK and refractive procedures.


Meet Dr. Nguyen




Dr. Katherine L. Nguyen born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Katherine Nguyen is a a board-certified optometrist with DEA, TPA, and TLG certifications. Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in co-managing refractive surgery cases (LASIK/ PRK), dry eye evaluations, and fitting contact lenses (soft, hybrids, and sclerals).  

Dr. Nguyen completed her optometric education at MCPHS University, School of Optometry in Massachusetts. Her internship training began with treating ocular diseases using scleral hard lenses at Boston Foundation for Sight. Dr. Nguyen then continued on to Quantico, Virginia’s Naval Health Clinic, to care for active duty military personnel. At Clayton Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Nguyen co-managed surgical cases. She finished her training at New Orleans’ Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she provided low vision services. While in school, Dr. Nguyen served as Vice President of Volunteers Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and hopes to continue her passion of providing medical services to the underserved communities.

Dr. Nguyen completed her undergraduate studies at University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), where she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in History. During her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and walking her dog, Charlie.
